Where to Invest

The following platforms are all places i have used and would recommend you check out.

WEBULL

Webull is great for trading stocks in pre-market, regular hours, and after hours, as well as trading stock options. It’s also got commission-free trading as well as a solid desktop application, so it’s a great choice. They got rid of their affiliate program, so there’s no monetary benefit to me for suggesting them.

M1 Finance

M1 is a great platform for building out different portfolios (called pies) and then divvying up your funds into them. It’s great for diversification and a solid place to start (or transfer) your retirement fund.

I have monthly automatic deposits setup into M1, which is a great way to build a portfolio on autopilot.

Robinhood

Robinhood brought their version of commission-free trading to the masses and I’ve been using it for over four years. While I don’t love it for options trading, if you just want to buy and hold some stocks without paying commissions, this is a solid choice. It’s also got one of the best user interfaces among all brokers.

Acorns

Acorns is a great platform for automated saving and micro-investing. I used it for years to kick-start my savings by rounding up my debit card purchases and automatically investing the difference. I recommend you check it out – especially if you have trouble saving money!
